FAA Approved Airline Flight Dispatcher Training

Course Overview

World Airline Dispatcher Schools  have been authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration to conduct aviation dispatcher training courses which qualify graduates for the FAA Aircraft Flight Dispatcher certificate.  Our curricula have been approved by the Dallas/Fort Worth Flight Standards District Office (DFW FSDO).

World Airline Dispatcher Schools  offers a variety of ways to obtain your FAA Aircraft Flight Dispatcher license.  We provide both day and evening classes for your convenience.  Our day and evening course schedules and fees can be found on the respective links for the course that you select.

World Airline Dispatcher Schools currently offers two courses for the FAA Aircraft Flight Dispatcher license.  Courses for 200 and 80 hours of instruction are available.  All courses meet the regulatory requirements of 14 CFR Part 65, Subpart C, and consist of three phases:

        1. Classroom instruction and training on aeronautical subject areas to master the knowledge and skills requirements of 14 CFR § 65.61 to be an Aircraft Flight Dispatcher.

        2.  FAA written knowledge testing on aeronautical subject areas applicable to an Aircraft Flight Dispatcher as listed in 14 CFR § 65.55.  The written test is normally taken before completion of the classroom phase of training.  For the 80 hour course, the written exam should be completed (in your local area) prior to attending the accelerated course.  A passing grade of 70% is required to take the next phase.

        3.  FAA practical testing, in accordance with 14 CFR § 65.59, administered by an FAA examiner and consisting of an oral exam and practical flight planning exercise.  The entire examination takes approximately four hours. Upon satisfactory completion of the exam you will be issued an FAA Aircraft Flight Dispatcher Certificate.
