** Students enrolling in the 80 Hour Course

      should successfully complete the written

      Aircraft Dispatcher exam prior to the

      class start date. Cost of the written exam

80 Hour Course Information

World Airline Dispatcher Schools currently offer an accelerated course – 80 hours in duration. Accelerated Courses are provided to individuals with specific qualifying aviation experience.  Evidence is required of aviation experience showing a total of at least two years experience in the three years before the date of application in any one, or in any combination of the following areas:

          1. In U.S. military aircraft operations as a:
              Pilot
              Flight Navigator
              Meteorologist 

          2. In U.S. aircraft operations conducted under Part 121
              as a/an:

              Pilot
              Flight Engineer
              Meteorologist
              Assistant dispatcher (under the direct supervision of a certificated
              dispatcher) 

          3. In aircraft operations as a/an:
              Air Traffic Controller
              Flight Service Specialist

          4. Aircraft Operations performing other duties that the
              Administrator finds provide equivalent experience:
 
              

World Airline Dispatcher Schools, Inc. may substitute previous aviation experience or training for a portion of the 200 hour course of training in accordance with the provisions of 14 CFR § 65.61(d).  Any credit allowed must be based on documentary evidence.  World Airline Dispatcher Schools, Inc. must make the final determination, document the credit allowed and basis for it in the student’s record.
